Life on the Celebrity Summit

We spent more time on sea days aboard the Summit than on all the ports and Panama Canal transits.

We enjoyed our dinner table mates.  Dinner was fun and we would run into our dinner mates on the ship and on shore.  Here are some pictures from May 1st, an "informal" evening, which means men in jackets:

Here are our assistant waiter and waiter with Diane:

We had a veranda cabin so we could sit and watch the world from our room:

The halls went a long ways in both directions, but we were close to one set of stairs and elevators:

There was art to keep things interesting inside:

outside and the grand atrium:

There were many public rooms to relax in or to eat and drink in:

Some were even multiple stories:

The center elevators were on the sides with glass:

You could sit around the pool and go to entertainment in the evening:

But as always we remember the people.  May 7th was our last formal night, with men in tuxedos or dark suits, and it was also Baked Alaska night with the parade of wait staff and celebration.  Some of our table mates:

One woman at another table knew someone at our table, so she came over every evening to chat and got to know us all.  She is the one on the right:

The Baked Alaska celebration:

We who had rented our tuxes turned them in the next day so they could be laundered for the next cruise.
