December 10, 2004 - Scotty's Castle, Part 1

Between Titus Canyon and Scotty's Castle we stopped at Stovepipe Wells:

A begging coyote tried to get us to feed it.  We had been warned about such encounters.

Here is the gate at Scotty's Castle:

A useful sign while we had a picnic lunch:

While eating lunch some small flies or gnats came and bit us all.  It took days for each of us to heal from those bites.

We signed up for a tour and wandered around outside:
