We met up with Diane's parents for another day at the San Diego Zoo.
We were hoping we would get opportunities to see different animals being active and immediately found this koala being very visible:
We also found a bunch of animals taking naps, like this wart hog:
We went to a wildlife show:
Emus are large! So are the paws on clouded leopards:
The show ended and we were able to get a close look at the clouded leopard:
The trainer said the clouded leopards like to chase insects, sounds like Evita.
The pandas were more active this visit:
This is a black jaguar sleeping. This is a big cat.
This Asian elephant is working to get carrots out of the ball:
