August 28, 2007 - Scottsbluff National Monument, Part 1

Scotts Bluff was very important to those on the Oregon Trail, seeing it meant the plains were over. 

The visitors center has a very nice display.  They also have some wagons by the visitors center.

We took the path the wagons took.  Here are some wagon ruts that have survived:
