We had always toured Everglades National Park in winter. This was a new experience. Our last visit was January 13, 2006.
We got to watch a thunderstorm on the way down:

At the entry visitors center we saw our first Great Egret of the day:

The pond is much more full than in winter:

We took the Anhinga Trail and it is not as fun as it is in winter. Much fewer critters and hot. Here is an anhinga:
