We again went to the San Diego Wild Animal Park on January 6th to see more. It was another beautiful day. We tried to take pictures of different animals than on the 3rd.
We walked through the African Aviary and caught this stork scratching its head:
Western Lowland Gorillas:
The silverback was back in a cave:
This must have been comfortable since the gorilla held it a while:
Shoebill (storks) with neighbors:
A native great egret in breeding plumage:
Pink-backed Pelicans:
An immature native Black-crowned Night heron:
Samson the Macaw had just been moved between aviaries and his keeper was making sure he was coping:
They really like each other:
