August 7th Diane left to visit a cousin in Portland so Bill was on his own without a car. During the day he walked into Seaside for some exercise and a break. Here is the "river crossing" between the campground and the highway:

About a mile west of the campground is the beach:

At the Seaside Turnaround they were moving sand around on the beach:
