After a short lunch visit to Cherokee we headed up US441 into Great Smoky Mountains National Park towards Gatlinburg, TN. Up is definitely the right word. At the top of the summit was a nice parking and viewing area.
We were at the state line.
Then we went down to the visitors center by Gatlinburg.
The visitors center, which we also visited in October 2005. We did not take photos of it then.
