December 16 to 31, 2009 - Wildlife at Gulf Waters, Part 1

We get to see a lot of wildlife both from our campsite and in the campground.  Here are some photos taken in December.

Double-breasted cormorants:

A great blue heron across the lake.

A male anhinga (the females have brown necks)

A brown pelican.

A mourning dove (we have also seen smaller doves, but did not get good photos)

"Our" alligator:
