November 27, 2009 - Trip to Fernandina Beach, FL

Fernandina Beach is north of Jacksonville and is mostly a tourist town.  We drove up the long way taking the 9A bridge.

There were shoppers this day in town.

We had a good lunch at O'Kane's Irish Pub and then headed back, this time taking the ferry.

While waiting for the ferry we bird watched.

A great egret.

Both kinds of blue herons, a Great Blue and a Little Blue.

Brown Pelicans flying.
