We had heard we should visit Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve Park here in Fort Myers and finally did. Since we had to pay for parking by the hour we gave it one hour to check the place out.

The park has a large set of boardwalks and takes you right into a cypress swamp to start.
Our first animal was a squirrel.
Then we got to Gator lake and saw this little blue heron.
