November 13, 2012 - Saguaro NP, Rincon Mountain District

Out in front of the visitors center are some nice displays like this one.

It was lunch time when we arrived so we first headed to a picnic area and had a picnic lunch.  We had company while we ate.

After lunch we took the Cactus Forest Drive and took some of the trails.

Nice Saguaro Cactus.

The hillsides are full of Saguaro.

Lichen on rocks, even in this dry climate.

The longest and last trail we took this day.

A crested Saguaro.

Cactus dance.

The wash the Freeman Homestead is close to.

It was a nice day back in nature.
