March 30 to April 21, 2003 - Life in Woodinville

Since we were back in Washington we visited Bill's mother, Elena, on April 3rd.  Her bird feeders were well populated:

Evita found the birds very interesting:

When Evita wasn't watching birds she was watching ET (Evita is on the ground):

On April 6th we tried an Easter themed gingerbread house party.  Due to short notice and other commitments we had a small turnout, but it was still a good time.  This time people came and went so not everyone was around at the same time:

Alas, gingerbread house parties were going to be mostly a memory for us moving into the motorhome.

Since Diane could now pass the eye test for her drivers license without contacts or glasses we used this as our opportunity to change our official address to Diane's aunts house in Poulsbo and got new pictures taken.  Diane was still going to need a touchup on one eye, so that was scheduled for the end of May.

We realized the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival was going on and we could visit it on a weekday, so here are our adventures on April 18 about an hours drive north of out house.  The pictures are large, so it might take a while to download but the flowers are worth it.
