We drove the 88 miles from Blanding to Arch View RV Resort in Moab, Utah on the 14th. Our intermittent no speedometer issue came back after almost a year and we had no speedometer for about 18 miles.
Here is our campsite at Arch View. Not as nice as the campsite we had here in October 2004 but it will do. We had not meant to take over 5 years to return to Moab, but that is what happened.
We can still see the mountains from our campsite.
We had enough time to go see Dead Horse Point State Park before dinner. It is a new place for us.

The next day we went to Arches National Park. Our last visit was October 14, 2004.

There was a stray cat in the campground that was being fed by our neighbor. It was walking around howling and rubbing itself so we think it was in heat. Females can have these colors, not males.
The stray cat was driving Evita a bit crazy.
Our last day we headed to the Island in the Sky district of Canyonlands National Park. We had last visited this area on October 15, 2004.

Diane could tell the stray was trying to make friends with Evita and was slowly making progress. The cat was also getting closer and closer to Diane. We figure if we would have stayed a week we might have had two cats.
It was now time for us to leave Moab, our campsite was rented to someone else and we had to move on. We again vowed to come back to this area and spend more time.
We did not eat out in Moab this visit. In fact our last restaurant meal was in Santa Fe.
